At approximately 4 p.m. Monday, December 29th, 2014, Ouachita Parish Deputies responded to a reported disturbance involving a shooting in the Town and Country area of Ouachita Parish. The subsequent investigation has led to the arrest of Jeffery Browhow, age 19, of Monroe. The suspect allegedly was armed and robbed the victim, during which a physical altercation occurred. During the struggle, the victim was shot in the hand. The victim was treated at a local hospital for the wound. The suspect, Browhow, was arrested later during the night and booked in OCC on the charge of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Armed Robbery.
