Ouachita Deputies Investigate Armed Robbery

On January 7, 2015, Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported armed robbery at a residence on Jennifer Lane in Monroe.  Investigation at the scene indicated two armed suspects, one armed with a pry bar and the other indicating he was armed with a handgun, entered the residence proceeded to rob four occupants.  Taken in the robbery was $180.00 cash, a flat screen TV and a Sony Play Station 4. The two suspects then fled on foot.

Further investigation determined that two of the occupants of the residence at the time of the robbery, Taquan Randle, age 19 of Monroe, and Jamon Ross, age 19, of Monroe, had previously conspired earlier that evening  with the two armed suspects to rob the other two occupants of the residence.  The two suspects that committed the robbery and fled on foot, David Butler, age 19, of Monroe and Christopher E. Roquemore, age 19, of Monroe were identified and arrested.  Each has been booked at OCC on the charge of Armed Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy.

Warrants have been issued for the two remaining suspects involved in the conspiracy, Randle and Ross, for the charges of Criminal Conspiracy and Armed Robbery.  Ouachita Sheriff’s Investigators are continuing their investigation and searching for the remaining suspects.  If you have any knowledge of this crime or the location of the two remaining suspects, you are asked to contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200.
