An investigation into multiple vehicle burglaries by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators during the month of July that occurred in the Highway 139(Old Bastrop Road), Finks Hideaway Road and Holiday Drive areas in Northeast Ouachita Parish has resulted in the arrest of two adults and two juveniles. Kevion Mushatt and Anthony Minor have been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on 3 cts. each of Vehicle Burglary, stemming from the vehicle burglaries on Lincoln Road. Arrest warrants have been issued for both charging them also in connection with the vehicle burglaries in the Finks Hideaway Road and Holiday Drive area burglaries.
Both juveniles have been arrested and placed in Green Oaks Detention center, each charged in connection with the vehicle burglaries in all three areas. Their identities cannot be released due to their juvenile status.
The investigation is continuing and more charges are expected.
In all of the vehicle burglaries, vehicles were unlocked and valuables were left in them, including firearms and debit cards. Sheriff Jay Russell and Deputies remind everyone to please remove any valuables, especially firearms and debit/charge cards, from your unattended vehicles and lock the doors.
