The OPSO Youth Fishing Tournament held Saturday was a huge success. The weather was great and several fish were brought in to the weigh-in. Two-hundred and fifty kids entered this year’s event. Judging by the smiles, they had a great time, as did the parents. Trophies were awarded in each age division and one for overall big fish. Several bicycles were also given away as door prizes to the winning participants.
Sheriff Russell would like to once again thank the Deputies that worked hard to make the tournament a success and the parents that allowed their kids to participate. We especially want to thank the sponsors listed on the banner that help make this event successful each year. We appreciate their support.
