During the early morning hours of Aug. 20th, 2014, a Uniform Patrol Deputy conducted a traffic stop on I-20 in West Monroe. Subsequent investigation revealed the driver, Quontell C. Gilliam, Monroe, LA., had approximately 5.5 lbs. of packaged Marijuana in the car. Gilliam was arrested and booked at OCC on the charge of Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS.
Sheriff Russell commends the work of the deputy and other members of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Patrol Division for being alert and observant of suspected criminal activity while patrolling Ouachita Parish.
