Today we honor our fallen brother, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Justin L. Beard.
Deputy Beard lost his life in the line of duty on April 30, 2017. He was fatally injured in a traffic accident while responding to a burglar alarm during a severe thunderstorm. He was a well-respected deputy for the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office for three and a half years. Friends dedicated a portion of Highway 557 in West Monroe in his honor to commemorate his service to his community.
